Great Question! 9:00am to 5:00pm are our operating business hours!
I would normally give it a 5 star but after the experience we had I doubt I'll ever return back. Pretty sad that ppl got there food before us but we been waiting a good 15 minutes or longer and they walked in and waited like maybe 5 minutes if that and we had the same thing they had. The cooks were playing around loudly and our food was over cooked!
Service was very slow. Food was okay but not spectacular especially since it sat in the window to long. Two in our party joined us after we were seated and had placed our order. We we're finished eating and theirs still hadn't been served. Her fries were way over cooked and cold.
The bonanza burger was amazing, the fries however were a little too done for my taste, but the burger and banana split definitely made up for that.
Good food in an old time type shop. Fun!
Couldn't taste the burger over the overwhelming taste of a tomato slice nearly three times as thick as the patty it was meant to accompany. The fries were standard bagged crinkle-cut with barely any salt. Everything about this restaurant is lackluster, except the service. Our server was fast, attentive, and truly joyful. She is the only reason The Strand gets two stars instead of one. Stay home and cook it yourself. Even if you can't cook, you'll get the same quality food.
I Always enjoy eating at this place with my family!! Get the double bonanza burger!!😉
Vert good, lots of good food and nice antiques. Wl be back
Always good
Small town place so we thought it would have some good country cooking. Not. Food was sub-par. Worst hot dog ever, spinach salad with grilled chicken not much better. They were out of everything including coleslaw and hush puppies and chicken tenders. Would not return.
Kevin Brisendine treated me to a hamburger and shake. It was nice. The company was key. OMG...the food..is always good here. Bonanza burger is the thing. Service is nothing less than the best.
The strand is an awesome place to eat a good burger it is a good burger so don't take this the wrong way! Please understand that this "Bonanza Burger" is nowhere near the original. It is a good burger so I do encourage you to stop in and try there food and enjoy the environment.
Great costumer service! 5 stars for sure! Also absolutely amazing chicken tenders😍
One of our favorite places in Fort Payne. Love the owners and the food. They always go out of their way to make sure we have everything we need!
Food here is always great. Down home country atmosphere with friendly staff.
Loved the bonanza burger! Amazing service and atmosphere.
Like walking back in timeThe bonanza burger and onion rings are wonderful
Takes you back to the day of ordering that Banaza Burger and waiting for your number to be called. Yum, so good.
Good food, friendly people. Would definitely reccomend. We got burgers and fries and they were great.
Was good food very nice service and very friendly my wife love the alabama stuff.
Best food and service 8n Ft. payne. We look forward to dining there and my granddaughter, Izabelle, love the lady who owns it. She always has to have a hug and a porcelain doll.
Everything is great. But the Bananza burgers are heavenly. Decor of antiques, that are for sale also. ., are very interesting and some are one of a kind. Plus a old soda fountain that works. Service with a smile added with everything that has been added . Top of the line diner. A must if you visit Fort Payne Alabama.
It's a cool story, but my burger was overcooked by a significant magnitude and the special sauce was pretty bland. The onion rings were tasty though. Nice people running the place even though they were watching Fox News Entertainment Network.
Disappointing. I love family businesses and try to support them when I can. I tried their Bananza burger. It was burnt and took 40 minutes from the time I ordered to serve. There is no way a thin piece of meat takes that long to prepare.
Ate here today. They forgot to put in our order. As we waited awhile the waitress asked what our order was. I asked if they had forgotten us and she she said oh nooo! She soon brings our food....but itwas burgers that was red inside. No one asked if there was a problem. We just left. Bad experience!
Good burger with special sauce.
Great home town food
Very good burger & onion rings...we got the bonanza burger with cheese...soo good! Also this is in the old DeKalb theater building so there is movie posters on the wall & antiques
Great little place to eat. Family owned and run with very consistent quality. They do Ribeye steaks on Fridays and they are the best steak in the Fort Payne area. They also make the old, original Jacks burger that will many will recall as a great burger from way back. And give the baby bakers a try. They are a small whole potato that goes great with steak or the catfish dinner.
The Bonanza Burger and onion rings are AWESOME!! I'll definitely go back again...
Good food good service
Diner along Main street. Great burgers.
The food was great and the people were so friendly! We ate surrounded by purchasable memorabilia, items from history, old comics, Elvis, Alabama, you name it. We kept leaving our table to look at something that caught our eye.We will definitely return.
We had the Ribeye and it was excellent. Our waitress was very polite and supplied us with everything we needed. Really unique atmosphere and they played some old Randy Owens music. For my first time I really had an awesome experience..
The greatest hamburgers around and homemade not froozen onion rings.
It was great.
If you are looking for a unique hometown dining experience....look no further than The Strand! Nostalgia cannot describe it enough! Great food, classic environment...and just good ole fun!
Good food but it's a little pricey for burgers and hotdogs.
Bonanza burger and fries were excellent. Staff was friendly. Definitely made us feel like family . I highly recommend The Strand.
I've been more impressed by gas stations compared to this place. Seriously the food isn't all that ' wow ' or ' amazing ' Neither is the service. Just walked in and they expected us to know what we wanted even after we told them we've never been there before. I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND NOT AT ALL PLEASED
Always a great choice in Ft. Payne. Love the Bonanza Burger.
Love this place. There is a very relaxing vibe. Plus they weren't disrespectful to me even though I'm a weirdo.
Superb service. Wonderful food. Excellent dessert! All around great atmosphere! Highly recommend!
Nice people and fresh homemade ranch.. Basic Pub Fare...
Great food, great people...will definitely be coming back..
Good food and service. Decent prices.
Great food and great atmosphere friendly people love eating there
Great little shopping spot! Extremely nice shop owners. They go out of their way to make you feel at home.
I really liked this place. They serve the old jack's burgers and old fashioned milkshakes. They make your food hot and fresh.Really good place to eat.
The burgers and milk shakes are the best around. The staff are really friendly. The kids want to go there whenever we are in Fort Payne.
We ordered the Strsnd burger and a Big hot dog with onion rings, fries and drinks. Everything was pretty good. We were there because it was a new place for us. The walls were covered with stuff like in the Cracker Barrel restaurants but it's for sale. The things you see will remind you of days past. The soda fountain is there. The Coke float we ordered was in a glass like it would have been in the forties or fifties. This is one of the places you should go to at least once.
